Rev. Kendall Ashley

My Story

Kendall Ashley is an Associate Professor of Management and Leadership, Motivational Scholar, children’s cartoon “Emotional” artist, and a follower of Christ, with 36 years in Ministry. He is originally from Compton, California, where he grew up as one of the “Boyz N The Hood.” He collaborated with the late filmmaker “John Singleton, and the late author and actor “Tommy Ford” from the hit-show “Martin”. He and the late American rapper Eric “Easy-E” Wright from NWA, hung-out as kids growing up.

 

Kendall possesses a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in management and leadership with an emphasis on Urban Community Development and the African American Experience. He is currently completing his Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Management Decision Science, with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Change, from Walden University.​

 

Kendall owns a consulting business and is the founder and Executive Director of TOOLS (Taking Over Our Lives), a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to presenting life skills topics to educational institutions.​

 

Kendall currently resides in Little Rock and is a loving husband to Sharon Bell-Ashley and father to son Whalyn and daughter Summer.
