My Story
Syd Hayman is a senior communications consultant at Allstate, storyteller, and former journalist. Syd’s storytelling and communications career includes serving as writer/editor at the University of Central Arkansas and as a journalist at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Syd is an alumna of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. When she’s not writing and editing, she serves as an advisory board member for the Celebrate! Maya Project, which promotes literacy and honors the legacy of Maya Angelou in Arkansas.
